Welcome to Occam's Razor
The End-Game. When you think of that idea, what comes to mind? Do you envision charging through The Sunwell Plateu with twenty-four other people, fighting through Kil'Jaeden's evil forces until you find the Deceiver himself? Perhaps you envision the acquisition of ‘loots’ which are, according to popular rumor, ‘phat’. Maybe all you had in mind for your career as a 70 is doing whatever comes your way with people you like spending time with? These are certainly just a few of many outlooks that people may hold regarding the game after you’ve put in the time to level yourself up.
One illusion that no one should have to keep is that these things cannot all be achieved in one guild. Occam’s Razor is a guild dedicated to the fusion of a family environment, progression in content and, of course these fabled loots of surpassing phatocity. The secret is in the name. Keep it simple! With a foundation of mature members who like to spend time with each other, all other things shall develop naturally.
You’ll be held to standards of dedication and performance, of course: any guild that has aspirations of leaving its mark in the dungeons of Azeroth must do the same. Do not think that this means you have to be Superman, however. If you join us you will be amazed at how helpful the membership is. Beyond that, the aim of our officer team is to be as approachable as possible. We have no ‘guild leader’ per se, merely a figurehead. We are of the mind that in this best of all possible guilds, everyone will have the drive, personality and intellect to lead, and petty ranks and titles should never stand in the way of that.
In short, all other things being equal, we believe that the simplest answers tend to be the best one. If that sounds like the way you want to play your end-game, essentially with an army of nerds beyond all redemption, then Occam’s Razor is the guild for you!
Guild News
Saturday, January 3, 2009: Return to raiding
Though Occam's Razor has been raiding for a couple of months in Wrath of the Lich King, we have not been fully doing so. Beginning January 7, 2009, Occam's Razor will return to actively raiding like it did in The Burning Crusade. As such, we will be very actively looking for new recruits to fill any missing class/role needs that we may have. If you wish to know more about our recruitment, please see the information in our left menu bar or contact a recruitment officer.

Thursday, November 6, 2008: Preparing for Wrath of the Lich King
In light of the expansion, Occam's Razor has suspended recruitment. We will continue to review applicants, however, we have no intentions on inviting applicants to the guild until we have had a chance to review their skills within a level 80 raid environment.
Occam's Razor has also suspended raiding. We would like to give our members a week off to prepare for Wraft of the Lich King. We will return to raiding officially as a guild January 7th, 2009. Prepare yourselfs and enjoy leveling to 80.
