Hunter Expectations

Gear

We expect all hunters to be geared appropriately for raiding. All gear should be fully enchanted and socketed with raiding in mind. We prefer for hunter applicants to have gear at a level suitable for our guild's progression. However, such is not necessarily required, as we value other factors (such as skill, attitude and fit with the guild) over gear.

Spec

Please remember, we are a "raiding first" guild. Please do not come to a raid spec'd for PvP. Any raid oriented spec is acceptable, however, specs should be coordinated among applicants and member hunters to provide the most benefit to the raid. Please ensure you have picked all the raiding/PvE friendly talents in your spec. Be prepared to justify your talent choices. If you have any questions as to the talent choices, one of our resident hunters would be more than happy to assist you.

  • Beast Mastery must include:
    • Ferocious Inspiration
  • Marksman must include:
    • Trueshot Aura
  • Survival must include:
    • Hunting Party

Pets

As with specs, pets need to be chosen with raiding in mind. Leave your Tenacity tanking pet in the stables (After all, we want warriors, druids, paladins and deathknights have something to do in the raid!) The preferred family of pets for raiding is Ferocity for their DPS, but there may be circumstances where pets in the Cunning family are appropriate. As with specs, please ensure you have picked all the raiding/PvE friendly talents for your pet. Be prepared to justify your pet talent choices. If you have any questions as to the pet/pet talent choices, one of our resident hunters would be more than happy to assist you.
